This Open Letter is a collective effort of brazilian Hymalayan owners worried about a pending issue at the brazilian Royal Enfield operation. The text exposes the problem, and the video shows the practical aspect. The portuguese version was sent to Brazil´s Royal Enfield Headquarters and all the 11 dealers, and the english version was sent to Royal Enfield USA and Royal Enfield India.
The sole action to a pilot, when hearing this pre-ignition noise is lower the pace and keep riding slowly. A “user hint” already published in our forum, which saved many engines at the roads. But we need a solution, to enjoy the bike in its full capability.
